Leadership Westmoreland
Alumni Association
The Leadership Westmoreland Alumni Association is formed of
graduates of Leadership Westmoreland, graduates of all the previous
Leadership programs, and all future graduates of the expanding
Leadership Westmoreland program.
Events
The Alumni Association held a successful kickoff
event with a picnic on the second of June at Mt. Odin Park in
Greensburg. With over 30 attendees netowrking, food, drinks,
and prizes everyone had a wonderful time. We hope to see you
at our next event.
Goals of the Leadership Westmoreland
Alumni Association
- To recruit new members to the program and
increase public awareness of the Leadership
Westmoreland program.
- To provide networking opportunities for Alumni
through mixers and other special events.
- To create and keep an up-to-date a directory of
graduates of Leadership Westmoreland and graduates
of all the previous Leadership programs.
How the Alumni Association Started
Each Leadership Westmoreland class divides into teams
that complete
class projects. In 2004-2005, one of the class projects
was to promote the
Leadership Westmoreland program.
One of the ways the class has
decided to promote the program is by getting past graduates involved
in the Leadership Westmoreland Alumni Association.
The first Leadership Westmoreland Alumni Association event was held
on Thursday June 2 at the Robert Bell Pavilion at Mount Odin Park in
Greensburg from 5:00-7:30 pm.
Planning will be underway for the next event. Please
contact us or any chamber exec to give us ideas on what sort of
events you would like us to offer.
